When Adam and I first started dating we had a bunny pet name running joke. Corny I know… So when we were looking for houses to buy after we got married and were deciding between two we noticed this little garden bunny in the backyard of one and decided that was obviously where we were meant to be. When Amelia was about a year old she randomly discovered our little friend and deemed him her pet to “feed” and take care of anytime she played outside. To this day she still loves and takes care of “Hippity” and is passing this love down to Oliver. I can’t help but to think this silly bunny is God’s way of reassuring me that I’m exactly where I was meant to be!

I tend not to write much about our journey with Amelia’s Rb on our blog. Mostly because I keep that to her CaringBridge site and partly because it’s not my favorite thing to write about. Although this trip is definitely one to document because not only were we given an “ALL CLEAR” with a year break from seeing Dr. Shields and the opportunity to attempt an in office visit next time, but we were also able to talk about moving Amelia to the Cancer Survivorship Program at CHOP!!!!!! PRAISE! PRAISE! PRAISE!
Oliver had some important business to take care of prior to departure.
No room at the RMH, BUT the Double Tree with their AMAZING cookies and extra bouncy beds were more than a hit!
The best thing about a late EUA arrival time?? Cuddles and cartoons!
Love at first site!!! Amelia’s chosen reward for being so brave during all of her doctor visits was the beloved Princess Anna from Frozen. (Also important to note this is the first doll Amelia has ever wanted!)
What’s better than earning Princess Anna for being brave? Why coming home to find her sister, Queen Elsa, awaiting her as a surprise!

But although his big sis is quite the director of most of their playtime, he really is ALL boy- always on the go and forever up to something!
And of course a fascination of technology…
And figuring out how EVERYTHING works…
So, as always, we love you! Happy 18 (but mommy was a little late in writing this so almost 20) months Ollie Bear!
